Life started to get a little bit busy with all of the excitement of graduation and moving that i got so behind on my blogging.
But....I could not miss this adorable boy and his first soccer experience!
He started out really shy and reserved. He wanted to play so badly, that was all he would talk about at home. He would practice and tell us all of the things he knew or was learning about soccer but....when the time came to play or practice he got very nervous. It took a couple of practices and a little extra coaxing and help from his coach, but eventually he got in the game a bit!
It was so fun to watch him get into it a little bit more every game.
Baby Steps People!!!
He was definitely MY son out there playing... staying as far away from the ball as possible and running the longest route to get to the ball.
Heaven forbid we actually get near the ball and chance getting hurt....at least that is what I would have been thinking!
He was super cute though in his shirt and little shin guards and really excited to run up and down the field. I am excited to see him try again in the spring! I think he will be able to jump right in next time and feel more comfortable.
He really did have fun...we just could not get him to smile!
