Halloween....LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

So Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  I love to dress up and decorate!  I love the fall smells and the yummy foods and of course the ....CANDY!!!!

We started off the Halloween season by taking the boys to Aplin Farms.  It was so cute there and we had such a good time.  There was a petting zoo that the boys LOVED.  We could not drag Lincoln out of there.  Then we went on a hayride out to the fields to pick out our pumpkins.  The boys loved it and came back with pumpkins "just their size" as Lincoln said!  Then we went through the corn maze.....which turned out to take a little L-O-N-G-E-R than we thought.

Then it was on to pumpkin carving....Lincoln actually got into it this year, though he did need help with his scary face pumpkin!  We forgot to take pictures when they were done.

Next came our ward Trunk or Treat on Saturday.  Of course we all had to dress up!  (And if I had the $$$ to waste....on costumes I would, but Jordan and I had to make do with what we could find).  It was a lot of fun!  We had chili and hot chocolate and there was a cupcake walk and other games for the kids.  Then we went outside to go trick or treating....it was even a little breezy out so it really felt like Halloween!

Halloween Night we got together with some friends at our house and we took the kids Trick or Treating for a bit.  Then we came back to our house to eat!   I made yummy Pumpkin Stew (baked right into a pumpkin) and mini pumpkin spice donuts!!  We had a great time and a fun Halloween!
